Devon Lewis-Buchanan
Founder & CEO

Raised in West Palm Beach, FL, Devon Lewis-Buchanan attended Suncoast High School and upon graduation earned a scholarship to play football and attend The University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Graduating with a degree in Behavioral Science, Devon was granted an opportunity to try-out for the Oakland Raiders, to pursue a life-long dream of playing in the National Football League when his plans were unexpectedly cut short, and he was forced to ask himself “What’s next?”.

Through the process of redefining his identity from being just another athlete, Devon began working in the field of social services as an Independent Living Specialist with children in the foster care system. His experience working alongside the Department of Children and Families, Palm Beach County School Board, and Department of Juvenile Justice have provided him a genuine ambition for servicing youth the tools necessary to build on mental resilience aiding in the transition from adolescence to independence. In 2017 Devon founded Inspire Youths to be an advocate for bridging the gap between mental health education and its communication between youth and adults.

Devon is also a loving father to his son Samson Marley who is an amazing addition to the Autism Spectrum community. Through service Devon has found the true value in his life, to become shoulders for others to stand on in their quest of achieving their life’s purpose. Devon serves on several boards in Palm Beach County, Bright Futures Academy, Healthier Neighbors Steering Committee, and the BeWell Palm Beach County Stewardship Council.
